Sacred Word Bookmarks
|
|
This set of 3 exquisite 2" x 6" bookmarks offer photographs of Avatar Adi Da, sacred visual images (described below), and ecstatic quotations from His Reality-Teaching. Originally designed for the celebration of Avatar Adi Da’s Sacred Word in March 2020.
The Ecstatic Winged Horse
In this image, the ecstatic attitude of the Horse—with his head arched in Bliss, and his wings outstretched (as a sign of Perfect Freedom)—is a visual symbol of Most Perfect Divine Enlightenment. Developed under the guidance of Avatar Adi Da Samraj, this sacred logo-image is associated with His summary Text on the process of Divine Enlightenment, The Dawn Horse Testament.
The Garden Tree
Avatar Adi Da describes the full structure of the human being in metaphorical terms as an immeasurably tall tree. This full structure extends beyond the physical form (which is “underground”), upward toward the Divine Matrix of Light infinitely Above. Avatar Adi Da acknowledged this illustration as an appropriate depiction of this metaphor. See “Hridaya Rosary”, in The Aletheon (or in Hridaya Rosary) for Avatar Adi Da’s full description of this metaphor.)
The Midnight Sun
The White Circle in the black field is what Avatar Adi Da calls the “Midnight Sun”—a visual representation of the Divine “Brightness” Shining in the midst of the cosmic domain. This image, simple in form but potent with meaning, was Revealed by Avatar Adi Da Himself.

2023 Image-Art Calendar: Quandra Loka
|
|
The Indivisible Space of Conscious Light
(Color Portfolio & Mille Camera V)
2023 Calendar
The 2023 Divine Image-Art Calendar, a sublime offering of Quandra Loka multiple exposure color photographs and configurations, commemorates the 20th anniversary of Adi Da Samraj’s first gallery exhibition in 2003, at Louis Stern Fine Arts on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.
Quandra Loka is a visual meditation on a very simple circumstance: a woman in and near a pool of water. Narcissus, the archetype of ego, gazes at his own reflection in a pond, never able to contact the “object” of his self-enamored affection. But Quandra, the true beloved, is one with the water itself, whether in or out of the pool.
I intend these images to “picture” the unity of the undifferentiated reality from which all appearances emerge in a constant flow of changes. The entire span of human possibilities is reflected in these images—both “positive” and “negative.” But all possibilities are seen in the context of that inherent unity or indivisible space. The positives and the negatives are all transcended, rather than any attempt being made to render them acceptable in and of themselves.

Sacred Image Greeting Cards
|
|
These exquisite cards are not only beautiful, they also depict sacred, empowered symbols associated with the Great Blessings of Avatar Adi Da. Originally designed for the celebration of Avatar Adi Da’s Sacred Word in March 2020.
Some of the cards in the set feature the sacred logo-image associated with Avatar Adi Da’s principal Text The Dawn Horse Testament. The creation of this sacred Winged Horse image was guided by Avatar Adi Da Himself and chosen by Him to accompany His Text of detailed Instruction on the process of Divine Realization (or Divine Enlightenment). The ecstatic attitude of the Horse—with his head arched in Bliss, his wings outstretched (as a sign of Perfect Freedom), and his front hooves gesturing to the structural “shape” of the Divine Reality as it manifests in association with the human form—is a visual symbol of Most Perfect Divine Enlightenment.
Each card displays variations on the sacred visual form called the “Da Mandala”.
Avatar Adi Da’s Name “Da” is the primal sound-form of the Divine Reality breaking through into the world of apparently unenlightened beings. The mandala images on these cards offer both the English and Sanskrit visual forms of the Name “Da”. Judith Parkinson, who designed the cards, relates: “I was reading The Dawn Horse Testament when I had the vision of what Avatar Adi Da describes as ‘Da-Thunder’—His Name issuing from a central sphere of radiant light. I drew images according to the vision, and when I presented an entire series of them to Avatar Adi Da for the first time, He simply said, ‘Yes, of course—the Da Mandala.’”
All cards come with envelopes. Cards are 5.25" x 5.25".
