“Radical” Devotion is the final book in the “Perfect Knowledge” Series, which comprises the Text of Is: The Perfect Knowledge of Reality and The "Radical" Way to Realize It.
This remarkable book contains the new Reality-Way Teachings given by Adi Da, in August and September of 2006. Some of the new essay titles include “The Reality-Practice”, “The Ancient Walk-About Way”, “The Way of The Mirror Is Me”, “Mere Concentration Versus True Surrender“, and “True Devotion Is Prior Communion—Not the Search For Union and Unity”. With these new essays, Adi Da further elucidates both the continuity of the Way of Adidam with the Great Tradition of religious and Spiritual Instruction (and in particular with the ancient tradition of the sighting of the Realizer), and the utter uniqueness of the Way that He offers, which transcends “point of view” from the beginning.
“Radical” Devotion is a supplement to The Way of Perfect Knowledge (Book Five of the “Perfect Knowledge” Series), containing new writings by Adi Da from August and September 2006.
When there is no identification with mind, then there is no mummery--no ego-role with which to be identified. In that case, there is simply Reality Itself. Reality Itself Is What is to be identified with. Reality Itself Is Non-egoic, Acausal, Priorly Free, Self-Existing and Self-Radiant, Indivisible, and Love-Bliss-Only. Why would you identify with something else?
—Avatar Adi Da Samraj
The writings of Adi Da Samraj are the most doctrinally thorough, the most philosophically sophisticated, the most culturally challenging, and the most creatively original literature on radical nonduality currently available in the English language.
